Wanda Joseph is a peacemaker with a passion for harmony, justice and healing. Through her private practice, Mediation and Training for Creative Conflict Resolution, she offers specialty mediation, training and facilitation for conflict in business, government and non-profit agencies.
Trained in mediation under the community dispute resolution program of the Michigan State Court Administrative Office, Wanda Joseph has facilitated public hearings and decision-making sessions for local townships and county government; US Forest Service; US Park Service, and neighborhood and transportation entities. She is also an approved mediator for the employment dispute program (REDRESS) of the US Postal Service.
Wanda Joseph has a special interest in the healing aspects of conflict resolution in the workplace and the opportunities it offers for restoring relationships and creative problem solving. There is hope and light even in our most tangled moments.Mediation provides a neutral, structured setting where you discuss the issues in a civil manner, identify the problems and strive to arrive at a mutual, constructive agreement. My role is to facilitate your productive conversation.
Training for creative conflict resolution offers hands-on skills in communication, collaboration, bias awareness and problem solving in a variety of settings.

Bill Waters and Wanda Joseph are excited about the possibilities that mediation offers Michigan communities.
We are committed to supporting the community dispute resolution programs and the local courts working together to bring community solutions to citizens entangled in disputes.
We offer the 40 hour general civil mediator training which meets the requirements established in Michigan Court Rule 2.411 and the State Court Administrator’s Office's Mediation Training Standards. In addition, this training includes basic civil court procedural information for non-attorney training participants.
He received specialized training in Conflict Resolution/Mediation from:
1) Michigan SCAO approved 40 hour community mediator training, 1991
2) Michigan SCAO Mediation Train-the trainer in 1991
3) Mennonite Peace Center, Lombard, Illinois 1993- certificate in mediation practice
4) 40 hours of domestic relations mediation training with Zena Zumeta at Southern Illinois University.He has specialized experience as a mediator for the Marquette County Circuit Court and as volunteer mediator for the Marquette-Alger Resolution Services (MARS). He received continuing education credit hours in mediation skills and issues from the University of Wisconsin by way of mediation workshops and conferences.
He has conducted over 11 SCAO approved mediator trainings in the state of Michigan and various accredited and modified training for police and corrections agencies both nationally - Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, the FBI Academy - and internationally - Ireland, the Czech Republic,South Africa. He is a past founding member of the Mediation Institute of Southern Africa.
